Wintaplast, <\/strong>two-component, waterproof, elastic, coloured mortar, resistant to UV rays and both positive and negative hydrostatic thrust.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Particularly suitable for applications on large surfaces<\/strong>, it can also be applied vertically<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The product has excellent adhesion<\/strong> to concrete<\/strong>, ceramic<\/strong>, natural and artificial stone<\/strong>, wood<\/strong>, steel<\/strong>, galvanized sheet metal<\/strong> and other non-oxidizable metals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Waterproof<\/strong>, resistant to bad weather<\/strong>, frost<\/strong>, salts<\/strong>, chlorinated water<\/strong>, and abrasion<\/strong>, it can also be left exposed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is used for waterproofing and restoring concrete structures<\/strong>, even subject to severe stress<\/strong>, for waterproofing surfaces subjected to intense pedestrian traffic<\/strong>, or as a waterproof coating<\/strong> for swimming pools<\/strong>, fountains<\/strong>, tubs<\/strong>, and non-drinking water tanks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION<\/span><\/h4>\n


\nApply the product with a flat brush<\/strong> or a metal spatula<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

USEFUL TIPS\/SURFACE PREPARATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The substrate must be clean, dry, cohesive, free oil crumbly parts, oils, or other non-stick substances<\/strong>. Irregularities of up to 1.5 mm<\/strong> can be restored with WINTAPLAST<\/strong>. Absorbent substrates<\/strong> such as concrete, plaster, masonry etc.<\/strong> shall be dampened beforehand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Prior to the application of WINTAPLAST it is highly recommended<\/strong> the use of BC SEAL BAND<\/strong> (self-adhesive butyl tape coated with polypropylene non-woven fabric<\/strong>) for proper reinforcement and sealing of corners and penetrations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Apply on a clean, dry, cohesive surface<\/strong>, free of oils and non-stick substances<\/strong>. Irregularities up to 1.5 mm<\/strong>, can be restored with WINTAPLAST<\/strong>. Absorbent substrates<\/strong> (concrete, plaster, etc.<\/strong>) must be previously moistened<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For each single layer<\/strong> a thickness of 1 mm must not be exceeded<\/strong>. The next layer<\/strong> can be applied when the previous one is perfectly dry<\/strong>. Maximum total thickness<\/strong> of the coating: 3 mm<\/strong>. To improve the \u201cvisible face\u201d<\/strong>, we recommend using a sponge trowel<\/strong>, before the product sets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For application in swimming pools, basins, tanks, fountains<\/strong>, and any structure intended for water containment<\/strong>, wait at least 7 days<\/strong> from the last coat of the product before filling<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • 1.8 kg\/m\u00b2 per mm of thickness,<\/li>\n
  • As a waterproof and abrasion resistant coating, in positive thrust: 3.6-4 kg\/m\u00b2, in two coats,<\/li>\n
  • As waterproofing in negative thrust: 4.5-5 kg\u200b\/m\u00b2, in three coats,<\/li>\n
  • Any preliminary levelling of the substrate will require greater consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \nThe product, in its undamaged packaging<\/strong> and stored<\/strong> in a dry and protected place<\/strong>, has a shelf-life of 12 months<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

        Store at temperatures<\/strong> between +5\u00b0C and +35\u00b0C<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
