W-BIT, <\/strong>bituminous water-based paint. Fast drying, solvent-free, it protects and waterproofs and is resistant to aging and weather.<\/p>\n

This product, thanks to the high technical characteristic<\/strong> (high waterproofing<\/strong> and constant elasticity<\/strong>) is used as a thin coating for low thick protecting and waterproofing surfaces<\/strong>, walls<\/strong>, and concrete structures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

W-BIT<\/strong> can be used for the protection<\/strong> of various surface such as perimeter walls<\/strong>, concrete structures<\/strong>, prefabrications<\/strong>, tanks for non-drinking water<\/strong> and over both oxidizable<\/strong> and non-oxidizable metal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION <\/span><\/h4>\n


\nThe product is ready to use<\/strong> and must not be diluted with water or solvent<\/strong>. It can be applied by roller<\/strong>, paintbrush<\/strong>, and airless spray<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mix well before using<\/strong> to obtain a perfect homogenization<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On surfaces subject to chalking<\/strong>, we recommend a preventive application<\/strong> of the consolidating agent WINFIX CONCRETE<\/strong>.

USEFUL TIPS\/SURFACE PREPARATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Carefully clean the surface<\/strong> to eliminate dust<\/strong>, crumbling parts<\/strong>, foreign<\/strong> or non-stick substances<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Only apply to dry surfaces and bases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Check for the presence of hidden humidity<\/strong> to avoid flaking and bubbles<\/strong>, due to vapor pressure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A practical method<\/strong> to check for underlying damp<\/strong> in the support to be treated could be to cover a square metre of the surface<\/strong> – better when exposed to the sun<\/strong> – with a polyethylene sheet<\/strong> of almost 2 tenths<\/strong>, fully sealing it at edges<\/strong> with double-bond tape<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

After 24-48 check for any condensation beneath<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Apply at temperatures between +5\u00b0C and +35\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
